Firefighter!Kagami Taiga x F!reader
Note:( Fluff fic, Domestic Fic, Firefighter kagami au, Based on a tiktok video I saw where a firefighter was holding his newborn child in his bare chest and it reminds me of kagami in some ways)
The sky outside had darkened, soft hues of twilight slipping into the room through the curtains. You rocked gently in the glider, the faint hum of your daughter’s breath filling the quiet as she rested in your arms, her tiny fingers curled against your chest. The day had been long, punctuated by diaper changes, feedings, and snatches of sleep in between, and yet there was a peacefulness in this moment as you held her close, feeling the weight of this new life in your arms.
And then, you heard the unmistakable sound of the front door clicking open. A warmth bloomed in your chest, knowing who it was even before you saw him. Taiga was finally home.
You looked up as he entered, his tall frame filling the doorway, and your heart skipped a beat. His face was tired, a day’s worth of exhaustion etched across his features, but his eyes softened immediately as he caught sight of you and your daughter together. Without a word, he moved toward you, an almost reverent gentleness in the way he crossed the room, leaving his work boots by the door.
Taiga always looked handsome, but there was something about him after a long shift that made him feel like a real-life hero. Maybe it was the way his shoulders sagged just slightly from the weight of his day, or the lingering scent of smoke and fresh air that clung to his clothes. He was still in his firefighter uniform, soot and ash dusting his jacket, his hands rough from a day’s work. But as he reached out to gently touch your shoulder, he looked at you with such tenderness that it made your heart swell.
“Hey,” he whispered, his voice deep and soft, as if he didn’t want to disturb the calm.
“Hey yourself,” you murmured back, smiling up at him. “Long day?”
He nodded, his eyes glancing to your daughter, his expression melting into something vulnerable and sweet. “You have no idea.”
Without another word, he pulled off his heavy, flame-resistant jacket, tossing it onto a chair. The undershirt he wore beneath clung to his broad chest, and you watched as he took hold of the fabric and tugged it over his head, revealing the lean muscles of his torso, damp with sweat. You swallowed, unable to stop your eyes from wandering across his shoulders, his arms, the faint line that trailed down his abs and disappeared into his pants.
It never failed to amaze you how strong he looked, his body a testament to the work he put in every day, protecting others and risking his life to keep people safe. And as he stood there in just his firefighter pants, his boots left by the door, he looked every bit the hero that he was.
“Do you want to hold her?” you asked softly, trying to keep your voice steady as you took in the sight of him.
His face broke into a gentle smile, his eyes softening as he reached out for your daughter. He moved with such care, his large hands cradling her head as he took her from your arms. And when she settled against his bare chest, he held her as if she were the most precious thing in the world, his every movement tender and deliberate.
Taiga gazed down at your daughter, his expression filled with wonder as he ran a finger along her tiny hand. You couldn’t look away, mesmerized by the sight of this strong, fearless man so completely captivated by someone so small. Your heart swelled with love, and you bit your lip to keep from letting out the soft, giddy sigh that was building up inside you.
Watching him, the man you loved, holding the life you’d created together—it was almost too much. He looked up at you with that same look of awe, his gaze filled with a deep, unspoken love that made you want to wrap your arms around him and never let go.
“She’s so beautiful,” he murmured, his voice filled with pride. His daughter stirred, letting out a soft sound, and he pulled her closer to his chest, his fingers brushing gently over her head.
You couldn’t help but smile, your eyes tracing the lines of his face, the way his brows furrowed slightly as he looked down at her. He was completely captivated, his every movement infused with a tenderness that seemed almost at odds with his rugged, powerful exterior. And in that moment, you were reminded of why you’d fallen for him in the first place—his heart, his strength, his devotion to the people he loved.
“She gets that from you,” you whispered, reaching out to brush a stray piece of hair from his forehead.
He chuckled, a low sound that rumbled in his chest, and your daughter stirred in his arms, letting out a tiny sigh. Taiga leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead, his eyes filled with a love so deep it made your chest ache.
When he looked up at you, his gaze softened, his expression warm and adoring. “I missed you both so much today,” he murmured, his voice rough with emotion.
“We missed you too,” you replied, your voice barely above a whisper.
He reached out, wrapping an arm around your shoulders and pulling you close, so that you were both leaning over your daughter together. In that quiet moment, as you felt the warmth of his skin against yours, his arm solid and reassuring around you, you knew that this was everything you’d ever wanted.
You leaned into him, resting your head on his shoulder, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath your cheek. There was a calm in his presence, a strength that reassured you, that reminded you of everything he was—the protector, the provider, the man who had given you his heart and, in turn, filled yours.
“Thank you,” you whispered, reaching up to run your fingers along his jawline. “For everything.”
He smiled, his eyes filled with love and gratitude, and you knew, without a doubt, that he would always be there for you, just as he always had. Taiga wasn’t just a firefighter; he was your home, your heart, your everything. And as you sat there together, the three of you cocooned in that quiet moment, you knew that there was nowhere else you would rather be.

Birthday Slam Dunk
The sun was just beginning to rise over Tokyo, casting a warm glow over the city. Inside Seirin High School's gymnasium, a buzz of excitement filled the air. Today was a special day—Kagami Taiga's birthday—and his teammates had planned a surprise celebration to show their appreciation for their star player.
Kuroko Tetsuya, invisible as ever, was the mastermind behind the plan. He'd enlisted the help of the entire team and a few special guests from rival schools to ensure that this birthday would be one Kagami would never forget.
As Kagami walked to school, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was up. The usually bustling streets seemed quieter than usual, and there was a strange sense of anticipation in the air. When he reached the gym, he was greeted by the sight of a darkened room.
"Hello? Anyone here?" Kagami called out, his voice echoing in the empty space.
Suddenly, the lights flicked on, and the entire Seirin team, along with Kise, Midorima, Aomine, Murasakibara, Akashi, and his girlfriend Luna, jumped out from behind the bleachers.
"Surprise!" they shouted in unison.
Kagami's eyes widened in shock. "What the—?!"
Hyuuga Junpei stepped forward, a grin on his face. "Happy birthday, Kagami! We wanted to do something special for you."
Kagami's initial shock gave way to a wide smile. "You guys... This is awesome!"
Riko Aida, the team's coach, handed Kagami a basketball-themed cake, complete with miniature figurines of each team member. "We figured a basketball cake would be perfect for our ace," she said with a wink.
As Kagami blew out the candles, his teammates cheered and clapped. The gym was soon filled with laughter and chatter as everyone dug into the cake and exchanged stories about their favourite moments with Kagami.
Y/N, who had been waiting patiently for the right moment, approached Kagami with a small, neatly wrapped gift. "Happy birthday, Taiga," she said softly, her cheeks flushed.
Kagami took the gift, his heart swelling with affection. "Thanks, Y/N. You being here is the best present I could ask for."
He unwrapped the gift to find a sleek, custom-made basketball jersey with his name and number on it, along with a heartfelt note from Y/N. He looked up at her, eyes shining. "This is amazing. I love it."
Y/N smiled, her eyes twinkling with happiness. "I'm glad you like it. I thought it would be perfect for our next game."
After the cake, it was time for some friendly competition. Kise, always up for a challenge, suggested a three-point contest. "Let's see if the birthday boy can beat me!"
Kagami smirked. "You're on, Kise!"
The contest was fierce, with Kise and Kagami going head-to-head in a display of impressive shooting skills. In the end, Kagami emerged victorious, much to the delight of his teammates.
"Looks like you've still got it, Kagami," Aomine said, clapping him on the back.
As the celebration continued, Kagami took a moment to step back and look around at his friends and his girlfriend. Despite their differences and rivalries, they had all come together to make his day special. It was a reminder of how far they'd all come and how much they meant to each other.
Kuroko approached him, a small smile on his face. "Happy birthday, Kagami-kun. We're all here because we care about you."
Kagami felt a lump in his throat. "Thanks, Kuroko. This really means a lot."
As the sun set and the celebration wound down, Kagami and Y/N found themselves alone in the gym. They sat on the bleachers, holding hands and enjoying the quiet moment together.
"Today was really special," Kagami said, his voice soft. "And having you here made it even better."
Y/N leaned her head on his shoulder, sighing contentedly. "I'm glad. You deserve all the happiness in the world, Taiga."
Kagami turned to look at her, his eyes full of love. "I don't know what I did to deserve you, but I'm grateful every day."
They shared a tender kiss, the gym now silent except for the sound of their hearts beating in unison. As they snuggled together, Kagami knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, he had the support and love of his friends and the girl who meant everything to him.
"Alright, everyone!" Kagami called out in his mind, raising his fist in the air. "Let's keep pushing forward and give it our all! Together, we can achieve anything!"
The gym erupted in cheers in his imagination, and Kagami knew that with friends and a love like Y/N by his side, there was nothing he couldn't achieve.

Headcanons for Akashi when he's angry? 😡
Been a hot min since I've done one of these long ass headcanon posts exploring different Akashi emotions/scenarios, so here I am again. Anger was per the suggestion of @japeneselunchtimerush, so shout out to Aura for once again feeding my Akashi brainrot. Let's get into it!
Usually, before I get into the headcanons, I talk about if there have been any examples of it happening in canon, and for anger, there have been! The most prominent example was during the Teiko arc, when Murasakibara was not listening to Akashi anymore and later confronted him, causing Akashi to switch for the first time. The anger I would argue is more apparent in the anime version, but it's still there in the manga, just as more of an undertone, though. Aside from that, though there aren't really many other instances I can think of apart from during the Winter Cup finals when Akashi realized his team was being overwhelmed and tried to make a comeback. Although, I'm debating classifying that purely as anger since he was clearly having a breakdown. But let's move on to the actual headcanons, I've rambled on this bullet point for long enough.
Firstly, what would make Akashi angry? Going off canon, we already know that one of these things is disobedience/belittling, especially when it comes to Akashi's own authority, but what else can we say makes him angry? I would say he's similar to Kuroko in the sense that he can't stand when he sees people being rude to others. I can imagine him seeing someone being the victim of harassment and bullying and he stands up for them, kinda like how everyone stood up for Kuroko in Extra/Last Game when Team Jabberwock attacked him. He's especially protective over his friends and would never let anyone say one bad word against them, lest they face his wrath.
(^^ As an extra thought to my previous point, I wonder if he ever had to reckon with being angry at himself for the scissors incident during the Winter Cup. I'm sure he's probably beaten himself up over it many times over.)
The examples I've given thus far are all serious things to get angry over, though. So, to lighten it up, I'm going to talk about situations in which I think Akashi would get mad for pettier reasons.
He'd for sure get mad at people disrespecting his height. Y'all saw how he dunked on Seirin in the WC finals just to show off and said "Did you think that was a move for tall people?" Technically he's above average height for his age, but when you put him next to his teammates, he looks so tiny since everyone else is freakishly tall. I'm sure his intimidating captain aura prevents most people from making jokes about his height anyway, but someone on an opposing team might be meanspirited enough to do it and he'd get pissed, like how Kuroko got pissed when Papa mistook him for a child.
Another petty reason I think he'd get mad is if someone isn't paying attention to him while he's speaking. I can especially imagine this happening with the Teiko gang because you know them mfs cannot collectively focus on something for more than five seconds. So imagine him talking about something serious only for him to turn around and almost nobody is paying attention. I've said once before that I think Akashi would be petty enough to pinch or kick somebody for something, so I think that this would be one of the times where this is applicable. He seems like an ear-puller to me, too. Just saying.
I'll give one more petty example for funsies, but I think he'd be mad if he didn't get what he wanted/things are not going his way. Not in the "I'm on the brink of defeat and the meaning of my existence is about to be nullified" type of way we've always seen for him, but in a "the cafe I frequent is out of my favorite drink and I'm about to make it everybody's problem" type of way. He just gets dramatic about minor inconveniences.
So now that we've talked about what could make Akashi angry, let's talk about what he would look like if he was angry. From what we've seen in the series, even when he's angry, he remains calm. He chooses his words carefully and is not the type to shout. The only time he's really raised his voice is when he was arguing with himself in his own headspace, but raising his voice at other people seems like a serious no-no for him. Even though he's calm while he's angry, the anger will still show on his face. The knitted brows, the deep disapproving scowl, anybody would be able to tell that Akashi is mad from a mile away. But if he's only mildly angry, I bet he'd look more pouty than actually mad, much to Mibuchi's delight because it makes Akashi look very adorable.
Come on. Look at that face. You're telling me you wouldn't pinch his cheeks?
How do other people react to him being mad, though? If he's seriously angry, it's like the air shifts. Nobody gets in his way when he's really angry. But when he's just mildly irritated, I think as time goes on, his friends will try and make him feel better, especially if the reason why he's mad is trivial and something that can easily be remedied. Like "Oh, Midorima's not free to play a game of online shogi with you right now? You can play shogi with me instead!" or "You forgot something in the gymnasium? I'll go get it for you!" I just like the idea of Akashi's friends, especially Rakuzan, going out of their way to do things for Akashi the way he does things for other people. It's what he deserves.
Overall, Akashi is a person who does not get angry often, and I feel like part of that reason is because he's always been taught to compose himself and not express emotions that can be perceived as negative. So, I can imagine what a struggle that must be for him, especially when he truly is angry but feels like he's not allowed to show it. So I would hope as time goes on that he feels more comfortable being open with that while still being able to show emotions in a healthy manner.
Alright, I've yapped enough, time to pack it up. Hope you guys enjoyed.
#it felt good to put out another one of these posts#havent done it in so long that i missed it#its also a nice exercise that helps me characterize him more accurately in my fics#anyway if anyone wants to add to this headcanon post feel free#kuroko no basket#knb headcanons#akashi seijuro

kise needs to prove to haizaki that he can’t steal you from him.
pairing: kise ryota x reader
word count: 1,887
✎ suggestive themes, self doubt, angst if you squint
knb masterlist
Kise had known that the outcome of winning the Kaijo vs Fukuda Sogo match wouldn’t be good. But he had expected Haizaki to resort to his usual violent tendencies. In fact, he was almost hoping for it at this point, after seeing what exactly Haizaki was trying to do as part of his revenge. He hadn’t anticipated this at all.
He glared at Haizaki across the table as he conversed with you, talking about the “good old middle school days I spent with Ryota-kun”. Kise nearly barfed at the words, knowing not one sentence that left his rotten mouth was true. He didn’t expect you to know that though. You were listening in intrigue, munching on your lunch and smiling at certain points of Haizaki’s (completely fabricated) stories. Kise felt his hold on his chopsticks tighten, jaw clenching in repressed anger. His leg shook under the table to try and allay some of his anxiety. It was not working.
It was supposed to be a nice, spontaneous shopping date when he had picked you up at your place this morning. He needed new basketball shoes, and it was the perfect excuse to drag you along. He wanted to take every opportunity to spend time with you now that you were officially his. In his mind, this was your first official date after he had asked you to be his girlfriend.
Kise had liked you from the minute he saw you in his class. You had made the transition from Teiko Middle School to Kaijo High way easier for him. You had been kind and befriended him early on when he asked for your help on a particularly difficult Math question (he knew the answer, he just needed an excuse to talk to you). You had enthusiastically agreed to help him, and the rest had been history.
To Kise, you were special. You didn’t care about his athletic pursuits or his modeling career. While you supported him wholeheartedly in all his endeavors, they didn’t define him. And he loved that about you. You were different to him than the usual girls who flocked to him, attracted by the glitter and glam and unable to see the boy underneath. Had it not been so early in your relationship, Kise would wax poetic about you every opportunity he got.
But this was new. It was new and fresh and so, so delicate. He couldn’t risk unintentionally pushing you away. Not when he had just got you.
And so the fear gripped him as he watched you laugh at something Haizaki said, realizing that he could very easily lose you to the man sitting in front of you right now. He had done it before, after all. It wouldn’t be difficult for him to woo you. He had run into the two of you while you shopped, greeting Kise like a long-lost friend and introducing himself as Kise’s old best buddy before Kise could get a single word out. He didn’t even have time to process what was happening before Haizaki was inviting you two to have lunch with him, to which you excitedly agreed, claiming you wanted to know Kise’s old friend, And you were always so kind. How was he supposed to explain to you that Haizaki was a snake? How was he supposed to drag you away without coming off as an asshole? You would probably tell him that he was being too harsh. You always saw the good in people.
You had seen the good in him, hadn’t you?
Kise felt a nudge at his side, turning his head to look at you seated by his side. You were looking at him worriedly, eyes wide and lips pursed in apprehension.
“Are you okay, Ryo-kun?” Your voice was so soft it naturally made his stiff shoulders loosen. He let out a breath he didn’t even know he was holding.
Across the table, Haizaki was smirking dangerously on him, a glint in his eye that told Kise all he needed to know. A claw gripped his heart, throat knotting as the fears of his middle school days encroached on his mind.
Your gentle touch on his arm made him finally move, standing up so abruptly it startled you. You blinked owlishly up at him, and he felt almost bad for doing this, if not for the sweat building up on the back of his neck.
“Can we leave, Y/N-cchi? I’m feeling a bit under the weather.” He tried to keep his voice steady, pointedly ignoring Haizaki’s burning stare. You nodded hastily, standing up and giving Haizaki a smile that made Kise want to scream.
“I guess we have to cut this short, huh?” Haizaki lumbered to his feet, giving Kise a grin that was so fake it took everything for him to not roll his eyes. “We should meet up more often, Y/N-chan, I have so many other stories about Ryota you would love to hear.”
Over Kise’s dead body.
He had reached for your hand, gripping it tightly in his own before throwing a glare at Haizaki, turning to walk out with you in tow. He had used your first name, and addressed you with an endearing honorific. After just one meeting. One conversation. Was that all it took?
“Ryo-kun, slow down!”
Kise blinked and stopped walking, turning to look back at you. He gasped and dropped his hand when he realized how tightly he was holding it, feeling his neck and ears heat up in embarrassment. He gave you a sheepish smile.
“Sorry, Y/N-cchi,” he rubbed the back of his head. “I got carried away.”
You sighed and took his hand again, looking around before leading him to an empty bench down the street. You sat down and patted the spot next to you, waiting for him to seat himself before you began to talk.
“You want to tell me what’s going on?”
Kise stared at you for a bit, gulping in what he assumed was a discreet way. “What do you mean? Nothing’s going on.”
Your face was blank as you looked at him, raising a delicate eyebrow in a way that clearly said that’s bullshit. Kise almost laughed.
“You were clearly uncomfortable around Shogo-kun. From the minute we met him, you’ve been quiet. It’s not like you.”
He didn’t hear a word past Shogo-kun. How long had it taken for you to start calling him anything other than Kise-kun? Haizaki had already made more progress in an hour than he had done in months.
“Ryo-kun?” You leaned towards him, and Kise felt every muscle in his body scream. He was panicking, he knew it. It seemed like all his confidence had suddenly gone down the drain. He felt the urge to run far, far away so he didn’t have to witness you spend a single happy minute with Haizaki. And even though Haizaki wasn’t here, Kise felt like the man was hanging over him like a shadow.
“Oh, Ryota, Y/N-chan.” This couldn’t be happening. It couldn’t be real. He watched Haizaki walk up to where you both sat. “You guys are still here. I thought you left, considering Ryota was feeling…… under the weather.”
That fucking tone. Haizaki was mocking him. Kise felt something simmer in his chest, feeling anger that he hadn’t felt since his last tough basketball game. You were looking between both of them in confusion, at the intense staring contest he had going with Haizaki. Kise felt bad, dragging you into this mess just because he won a basketball game. In the grand scheme of things, and compared to you, that win was nothing. Had Kise known this would ensue, he would never have provoked Haizaki or even played in the game.
“We were just leaving.” You stood up, pulling Kise out of his thoughts. Your stance was purposeful and closed off, which made Kise bite the inside of his cheek with worry. Had he freaked you out? Were you upset?
He wordlessly got to his feet and followed you when you tugged on his hand, feeling anxious that this would somehow ruin things between the two of you. A mere ten feet of walking later, you turned around abruptly, looking up at Kise with a heated stare that made him freeze.
“Kiss me.”
Kise’s mouth fell open in shock, eyes so wide he felt like they were ready to pop out of his skull. “H-huh?”
“You want to show him that I belong to you, right?” You leaned closer. “That’s what all the glaring is about. Well, do it. He’s watching.”
Kise instinctively turned his head behind you to see, and sure enough, Haizaki was standing right where you two had left him, only a few strides away, watching both of you, hands stuffed casually in his pockets. He smirked when their eyes met. Kise realized that in that moment, Haizaki probably thought you two were having an argument.
He felt his chest burn in anger.
The next second he turned back to you, one hand reaching up to hold the back of your head and the other on your waist, pulling you in until your lips were meeting in a searing kiss.
He nearly pulled away in surprise when you kissed him back just as aggressively, hands reaching up to tangle in his hair, standing on your tiptoes and tilting your head to deepen the kiss. Kise nearly moaned, winding an arm around your waist until your body was flush against his. The people walking past you two faded away from his mind, and he felt his core tighten at how good you felt.
You had never kissed like this. In the handful of times that you had, it had been soft and hesitant, testing the waters, giggling and laughing as you exchanged gentle pecks after a good date. You had never arched into him like this, never sighed and hummed or tugged on his hair until little tingles ran through his scalp. He relished in the feeling of you, in the soft give of your hips under his hands, tongue running over your lips until you opened your mouth and let him in. Kise groaned long and low into your mouth, at how pliant you were being. His cock twitched in his trousers.
He turned you slightly and opened his eyes, still kissing and licking at your lips, eyes laser focused on the person behind you. Haizaki’s mouth had dropped open, and he looked pissed off as he lifted his hand, showing Kise a middle finger before turning and walking in the other direction.
Kise smirked and closed his eyes, both arms wrapping around your frame and kissing you harder, longer, not caring at the weird looks you were attracting.
He kicked himself for ever doubting your love, for ever doubting you and your devotion to him. It took so many months, but that meant one thing; you two had entered this relationship with complete trust and comfort, and a fake, one hour conversation with some random guy wasn’t going to mess that up. Haizaki could try over and over and it still wouldn’t work. This was one thing he couldn’t steal. And the way you whimpered into his mouth when he bit at your lip proved it.
You were Kise’s. No one else’s.

Bonding by laughter | Kagami, Kuroko & Nigou
A/N: Last fic from Max's @wertzunge amazing commissions, thank you soooo so much for your kind support and for always being an angel, Max! I hope you enjoy these boys and doggy. I think it's my first time writing something for knb so I worry they're a bit ooc, either way, please enjoy and thank you so so much again, I'm always happy to work for you hehehehehe ❤️
Summary: since when is Kuroko a psychiatrist specialized in phobias? And why did Kagami accept to be treated by him?!
Words: 2k+
He didn't want to be there. He really didn't want to be there!
Kagami's skin was already prickling with sweat and his legs were starting to get weak, hands trembling and fingers fidgeting. He was going to faint, he definitely was going to faint in front of Kuroko's house. He could sense the smell of that furball all the way from where he was standing in front of the door.
He was a fool to agree to go there. A sleepover to get rid of his fear of dogs at Kuroko's house? That was simply stupid! He hadn't been able to overcome his fear in all those years, how could one night change anything? What kind of high-impact therapy did Kuroko have planned for him?!
The answer to Kuroko's proposal was very clear in his head and the tip of his tongue: 'no', but when Kuroko looked at him with those eyes resembling, for god's sake, an abandoned puppy, Kagami's response was ‘sure’.
He really was out of his mind.
“Kagami-kun?”
Kagami looked up and saw Kuroko already inside his house, holding the door wide open to let him in.
“I'm going home.”
“Eh? But… Kagami-kun… you already came all the way here… you know, I was really looking forward to helping you out…”
Kagami gasped, there was that face again! For someone with so little presence, he certainly knew how to convince people... or perhaps Kagami simply was too stupid for falling for that puppy face.
The next moment, Kagami found himself inside the house and when Kuroko closed the door behind him, he wanted to scratch at it like a trapped cat desperately wanting to get out. To add to his misfortunes, he suddenly heard footsteps, quick little thud thud thuds rushing towards them and his heart began to race.
“Ah, Nigou. I'm back.”
Bark!
Kagami felt his soul leave his body. Suddenly he found himself behind Kuroko, his body limp in front of the door as his trembling hand gripped the knob, making it jingle.
“Oh,” Kuroko said and he gently picked Nigou in his arms as he stepped out of his shoes. “It's okay, Kagami-kun. I have him in my arms. He won't do anything.”
When Kagami looked up, Nigou was staring at him and he looked like he was smiling. His long tongue was out as he panted happily, his fluffy tail wagging from one side to another way too quickly. Kagami had to admit Nigou was a cute dog, but cute or not, he was still scared of him. The puppy barked a couple of times and Kagami jumped in response.
“You can leave your bag there and use these,” Kuroko said, pointing at the corner where he left his own bag and then placing a pair of slippers on the floor for Kagami to wear. “Let's go to my room. Don't worry, I won't let go of Nigou.”
Kuroko really wanted to kill him, right?
On the way to Kuroko's room, Kagami kept a safe distance between him and Nigou still in Kuroko's arms, but he could barely relax with Nigou leaning on Kuroko's shoulder, looking at him with that doggy smile, showing all of those pointy teeth and fangs. He knew that Kuroko just wanted to help, but Kagami thought that he really wasn't going to survive that night. How was he going to be able to sleep or even go to the bathroom knowing that Nigou could be in any corner and cranny of the house?
“Okay, take a seat in the bed if you want, Kagami-kun,” Kuroko offered as he went to the corner of his room where Nigou’s bed was. He came back with a squeaky toy that caused the puppy to go crazy between Kuroko's arms. “I think we should start by playing a bit. You don't need to do anything, Kagami-kun, just throw this toy somewhere and Nigou will bring it back to you.”
Kuroko placed the toy in Kagami's hand and he cringed, his skin covered in goosebumps and all the hairs in his body stood up. He fought the intense urge to let go of that damn toy, especially when Nigou started to bark like a demonic dog, twisting like possessed in Kuroko’s arms.
“Relax, Kagami-kun. Just throw the toy.”
Kagami threw the toy gladly and perhaps a bit too hard, it hit the wall and bounced to the middle of the tiny room. Nigou barked hysterically and Kuroko gently put him on the floor. His little nails clawed the floor and he seemed to be stuck for a moment, running on the spot, but then, just like lightning, he rushed to the toy, grabbed it in his snout and rushed towards Kagami.
Kagami shrieked, bringing his knees to his chest and curling on himself as Nigou stood on his hind legs and put the toy on the bed, expectantly, his tail wagging vigorously.
“Well done, Kagami-kun,” Kuroko clapped twice with a little smile. “Can you try to do it again? Maybe throw it a little bit… less hard?”
Kagami looked up at Kuroko and he held himself back from whining. “Do I have to? It's… full of saliva,” he said, eying the toy with disgust.
“I'm sorry about that, I promise it'll be fine.”
Kagami took a deep breath, there was no way out now, so he grabbed the toy and tossed it. Nigou brought it back and he tossed it again and again and again. Nigou excitedly placed the toy on the bed one, two, three times and Kagami thought it wasn't all too bad. It was actually a little fun to see Nigou rushing for the toy as if his life depended on it. Best part was that he didn't need to touch him to play.
“You're doing it very well, Kagami-kun,” Kuroko congratulated him with a kind smile. "Now I think it's time for you to touch Nigou.”
“No.” Was the automatic response. Without even thinking twice, Kagami shook his head and decided to stop playing, discreetly wiping his hand on Kuroko's bed and making Nigou whimper sadly. “I won't do that.”
“It's okay, we'll start slow, Kagami-kun,” Kuroko said gently. “You already played with him, it should be easy enough.”
“Are you crazy? Playing and touching are completely different!”
“Nigou is not even moving right now, Kagami-kun,” Kuroko said, pointing at Nigou. The puppy was sat in front of them on the floor, his tail wagging, but his head tilted to the side, confused. “Why don't you try using your foot? Just try rubbing under his chin, he likes that.”
Nigou seemed to understand Kuroko's words, as he started panting, showing that doggy smile, and wagging his tail even faster.
Kagami didn't want to even try, but he knew Kuroko would not leave him alone. Letting out a shaky sigh, he extended one of his feet towards Nigou. The puppy stayed still, waiting expectantly. Kagami's toes even seemed to tremble as he finally touched Nigou’s under chin.
A terrible shiver ran down his spine as he felt Nigou's warmth and the softness of his fur. The dog barked happily and he quickly nuzzled against Kagami’s sole making him shriek in fear and pull his foot away.
“You did so well, he was just excited. Could you do it again, Kagami-kun?’
Kagami growled, shaking his head but extending his foot again. Nigou’s nose pressed gently against the sole of Kagami's foot and he flinched, his foot jerking slightly, but not pulling away completely. He was thankful he had his socks on, he was sure feeling that wet nose against his skin would make him want to scream. Nigou sniffed curiously at his foot, his little nose nuzzling his arc and under his toes and Kagami jerked slightly, it tickled.
“How's that, Kagami-kun? Not bad, right?”
“It's… terrible, but… somehow I- ack! W-Wahahait!”
Kuroko reached out for Nigou when Kagami let out that squeal, but when he started laughing, he stopped. Nigou had started to nibble on the ball on Kagami's foot. The pressure of his teeth wasn't enough to make Kagami scream, it was simply ticklish, and he tried to move his foot away, but Nigou followed every move, as if to make him laugh more.
“Stohohop thahat!”’ Kagami giggled, finally bringing both his feet up onto the bed, letting out a soft sigh. “Th-That was enough, r-rigth?” Kuroko blinked, looking at Kagami with wide eyes. Kagami felt fear settling in his bones. “W-What now?”
“Put your feet back down, Kagami-Kun. I have an idea.”
“What?!”
Kuroko jumped off the bed and sat on the floor next to Nigou, looking up at Kagami. Kagami hesitantly lowered his feet back and he gasped when Kuroko grabbed his right ankle and stripped his foot from its sock.
“H-Hey! W-What are you- ah! W-Wahahait, dohohon't! Ahahahagh!”
Kagami saw how Kuroko gently tapped Nigou's nose and then the ball of his foot, making his leg jump slightly, but Kuroko held his ankle firmly, especially when Nigou pressed his wet nose back against his sole, causing him to shriek and giggle as the puppy nibbled at the bare skin, his tongue going between his toes, making him cringe.
“Stahahap!”
“Kagami-kun, this is a good way to make you stop being scared. Look how much you're laughing thanks to Nigou. It must be really fun,” Kuroko said, perhaps a bit too proud of himself. “You both are bonding by laughter, which is perfect. Nigou seems to also be loving tickling you- ah, hold still, please.”
Kagami used his other foot to push Kuroko's hand away from his ankle, but was surprised when he put both his feet in an armlock and raked his blunt nails along Kagami's socked sole while Nigou nibbled playfully at his toes. Kagami threw his head back, his body falling on top of the bed as he squirmed and arched his back, pulling at his trapped feet.
“Y-Yohohou s-sahahaid N-Nigou! W-Why ahare you t-tihihickling me t-toohoho?! STAHAP!”
“I'm also trying to help you get used to Nigou, of course. If I'm tickling you too, you'll know nothing bad will happen, Kagami-kun.”
Oh, shit. That made lots of sense, Kagami thought and so, he had no other option but to stay still as best as he could as Kuroko’s fingers scribbled up and down his sole. Scratching the hypersensitive skin under his toes and even tickling in between them, making him cackle and tear up. On the other hand, Nigou had found a terrible ticklish spot on the arch of Kagami's foot and as if he knew it was driving him crazy, He decided to nibble on the delicate skin, causing Kagami to bang his fists against the bed. Tears of laughter running down the sides of his face.
“F-Fihine! FIHIHINE! J-Juhust a breheheak! Plehehease!”
Kuroko finally let go of his feet and Kagami went limp on the bed, giggling softly as he tried to calm down his breathing and get rid of the tingles in his feet… and also clean up all traces of Nigou's tongue with his sock.
“Kagami-kun? Kagami-kun, how are you feeling?” Kuroko asked, poking Kagami on the side, making him squeal. “Look.”
Kagami raised his head and he saw Nigou sitting on his stomach. His initial response was to throw the poor animal away, but… for how long has he been sitting there? And how come he didn't feel Kuroko placing him on top of him?
“Oh…,” he said breathlessly, blinking a couple of times at Nigou's smile. “I… see…”
“You did very well today, Kagami-kun. Congratulations!” Did it actually work? Was he not afraid of dogs anymore? “Now-”
“E-Eh?! Ah! What- wait! G-Get out of the-thehehere! Nohoho!”
“We just need to make sure that you really are less afraid,” Kuroko said, his hand lifting the hem of Kagami's shirt for Nigou to venture under, his wet nose pressing against his ribs and tummy and side, making him laugh and laugh all over again. “So more bonding by laughter is needed.”
Perhaps Kuroko and Nigou had really cured his fear? Well, he has to take it easy, maybe it hasn't cured his fear of all the dogs in the world, but at least with Nigou it has and, he had to admit it, it had been really fun.
“AHAHAHA! Nohohot you t-tohoo, K-Kuhuhuroko!”
“Don't worry, it's all to help you, Kagami-kun.”
Yeah, this truly was fun.

could i rrquest some highschool drama with kise ryota? thanks a bunch!
High school drama it is. Please grant me the privilege of being the pettiest, most cliche I could be with this request. Again, sorry for the very long wait. And thank you for sending this request and always being supportive of my work. Enjoy! ^^
Pairing: Kaijo!Kise x reader (implied)
“What did you say?”
Shinohara Tomori looked you straight in the eye as if taunting you. And you were so close, SO CLOSE, to scratching those judgemental eyes out of their sockets and throwing them across the corridor. But you kept your temper at bay and instead waited for this classmate of yours to repeat herself.
“I know you heard me clearly,” Tomori took a step closer and you had to lift your head a bit to keep the eye contact with the taller girl, “Kise-chan doesn’t want to have anything to do with you, so I suggest you stop following him like some lost puppy, because you’re just making a fool out of yourself.”
Seriously? Such a girl existed? You thought you only saw these kinds of scenarios in the movies.
“First,” you took a step closer, squared your shoulders in an effort to look tough in front of Tomori and her group of (tall) friends, “I don’t follow him around. I’m his tutor and friend. Second, if you’re trying to pull me into a fight and get me to the principal’s office, then you should give up, because I won’t cause a scene.”
A smirk crossed Tomori’s face as her eyes glinted with an almost giddy glee. “You don’t have to pretend. Everybody in this school knows how madly in love you are with Kise-chan. Hate to break it to you, but he’s not interested in someone like you.”
The statement caught you off guard. You bit your lower lip. After graduating from Teiko, you had set your eyes on going to Kaijo for high school. At the same time, Kise was scouted by the Kaijo basketball team. That was a bonus. You were close friends after all. You didn’t follow him here.
That was the truth, but somehow that wasn’t how others saw it.
Gathering up your thoughts, you gulped and said calmly, “You know what, you can go and make silly gossips about me. I don’t care. Go and have your fun.”
Pivoting on her heels, you decided to just let them be. You knew the truth to yourself. There was no point in bickering with mindless girls about Kise because in the end, it was up to them to believe in what they wanted to believe in.
Tomori grabbed your wrist and pulled you back. “Aww, don’t cry. That’s why we’re here, right girls? We’re going to help you move on from your not-so-little crush on Kise-chan.”
“Can you stop calling him that?” you hissed, still struggling to keep your cool, “What are you, close friends or something? I bet Ryouta doesn’t even know who you are—”
You didn’t realize what was happening until you staggered a few steps back after being shoved by Tomori. You weren't given the time to properly recover when the girl started shouting into your face.
“I’ve dated him several times before, you little bitch!”
One of the girls behind Tomori piped up, “Tomori here is Kise-kun’s type, so stop dreaming for something impossible to happen.”
Please, Kise never dated the same woman twice. There was no way Tomori was telling the truth.
You shrugged. “He doesn’t really pick up girls, just so you know. So I’m not sure where you got the idea that you’re his type.”
That did it. Ohh, boy. Tomori’s face was bright red now—almost as red as her lipstick that you wanted to laugh. She grabbed the front of your shirt forcibly. The rest of the girls were now slowly surrounding you in a circle.
“Let me get this straight,” Tomori spat hatefully, “You’re just a little bitch who’s hungry for attention. No matter how hard you study, no matter how much you help Kise, he will never look at you the way you want him to. He’s just using you. Wonder why Kise’s never dated you before? Because you’re just a little bitch with a hideous face!”
Despite the situation that you got yourself into, the impending danger you were about to face from these monstrous witches with unimaginably long talons, you found yourself giggling a bit even though you were a breath away from retaliating physically.
“What’s so funny, little bitch?”
You shook your head in amusement. “Is ‘little bitch’ the only insult in your short list of vocabulary?”
“HOW DARE YOU!” came the blood-curdling screech.
You braced yourself from the upcoming blows from the girls. but none came, much to your astonishment. What was even more surprising was the arm that was now wrapped around your shoulders. You raised your head sideways to meet the gaze of a pair of golden irises.
“What’s going on?”
Shifting your attention from Kise back to Tomori and her band of friends, you noticed how their expressions flickered from smug to surprise and puzzlement just like a light bulb.
Catching up on the way Kise’s eyes now flaring furiously, you tugged on the sleeves of his shirt and murmured, “Nothing. Let’s go.”
“You can’t just let it slip like that,” he said tiredly, looking back at the girls who were still speechless because of his sudden appearance.
“It’s okay. Let’s go.”
You wanted to tell him all the mean things they had just said. You wanted so much to see how Kise would put these girls in their place, and Kise would if you told him to, but Kise should not be dragged into this mess.
As you were about to pull him away from the circle, Kise opened his mouth, “I heard everything you told her. I don’t exactly know when we dated, but don’t you ever talk to her that way again.”
Alarmed, but also slightly please, you started to drag Kise away hastily. This was bad. What if that ruined Kise’s image or something?
“Go ahead! Run! Nobody wants a stupid model like you when you can’t even pass your exams in—”
Shinohara Tomori wasn't given the chance to finish her sentence and not even Kise was able to react on time despite his quick reflexes, because you had tackled the poor girl to the floor with fist raised.
~ O ~
“Why did you do that?”
You made a noise and chose to ignore him. You sulked on the bench with your favourite cup of milk tea. You looked up and gazed at the setting sun.
“Hey you, look at me,” Kise urged, sitting down beside you with a worried expression marring his face. “Look what happened to your face. That girl did quite a number on you.”
You chuckled and turned to him, giving him a full view of the length of the now bandaged scratch you had on your cheek. You gave him a conceited smile. “Not as much as I did to her. Didn’t you see her two black-eyes? Also her busted lips and bruised—”
Kise groaned loudly. “Lucky you were just given a warning. If it were someone else, the principal would’ve given a week of suspension.”
Shrug. “Lucky they like me then.”
He scratched his head in frustration. “We were about to walk away, you know? And you just had to.”
“She called you ‘stupid’,” you grumbled, staring at the cup as though it was the most interesting thing in the world.
Kise watched you play with the straw quietly and waited for you to elaborate. He was only met with silence. This wasn’t the first time you let hell break loose. There was another time in Teiko when you violently kicked a guy in the groin after finding out that he was hurting the basketball players when the referee had not been looking. If Aomine hadn’t pulled you away in time, Kise knew that you would’ve choked the guy to death.
Instead of reprimanding you, Kise placed an arm around you instead, leaning closer. “Don’t go that far for me again, will you? I can handle myself.”
You huffed in response. “Well, tell your girlfriends to stop bothering me then.”
Kise raised his free hand defensively. “Hey, I can’t tell them to unlove me, you know. It’s not my fault they’re obsessed with me.”
“You should really get a ‘real’ girlfriend,” you rolled your eyes and elbowed his ribs gently, “Maybe your fangirls would back off a little.”
His eyes glimmered the slightest at that, but you didn’t see that quick flash as he leaned his head on top of youra.
“Yeah, I guess I’ll get one soon, and you’ll be the first to meet her.”

Life is good
Life is good
Author note: I was .......inspired and with Valentine closing up.......feeling a little depressed and sad, and Aomine Daiki just has a soothing effect on me.
Warnings: None, just a whole lot of freaking fluff, wishing he was real right now.
Word count: 864
Song inspiration: some playlist on youtube
Imagine....
He was staring.
Yes, he knew he was staring but could you blame him? There are not a lot of things he likes to watch. The majority of programs and shows these days weren't amusing. He found himself bored most of the time. His magazines no longer kept him entertained. God knows no one stood a chance against him in basketball. Ever since Kagami moved back to America, basketball wasn't the same. The miracles kept him occupied, but they didn't meet as often. Everyone had their own life to live.
Kise was off travelling with all kinds of different modelling gigs and even landing acting jobs. Kuroko was somehow living peacefully as a kindergarten teacher. Murasakibara was running his own bakery, which shockingly is flourishing. Midorima was off in the medical field and saving lives. Akaashi had finally taken over his father's dynasty and was perfect about doing it. No shock there. Daiki couldn't help but compare his life with theirs. It wasn't that he thought they had it better, but sometimes he couldn't help but think that he hadn't accomplished as much as them.
During those times, something or more like someone would remind him that his life may not be luxurious with constant new challenges and entertainment on a screen or paper. But he was lucky to own what he had. That someone would be you.
You are standing in the kitchen, cooking up a storm. He thanks God every day for gifting him you, cause he could´nt cook for his life. But you, you were amazing at it. The way you entered the kitchen as if it was your domain. You could make any sort of food, new or old, and it would be delicious. Daiki never had a complaint about any food that was made by your hands. The trust he had in you was unmatched.
But today was different.
"Sweetcheeks, you´re supposed to rest. You have been on your feet for too long"
He rises from the sofa and walks over to you. He grabs the bowl in your hand at puts it on the counter. He then turns to you and takes a hold of your forearms. You can only pout at him. You have been having cravings like no other for far too long and you just want to satisfy them. You do understand where he is coming from. The doctor did tell you to rest and not to overwork yourself, but you love cooking. For you, it feels weird not cooking the food at home.
"Baby I know you wanna feed us, but you have to think about yourself, your health and the baby's health too"
Your pout deepens. You hold your hand over your swollen stomach. You are looking forward to this baby coming out. Being 6 months pregnant was not easy, especially with a husband that is as protective as Daiki is with you and the baby. Not to mention that the doctors are worried about you and keep telling you to rest when you just wanna move around like normal.
"Daiki, we both know you can´t cook to save your life. We can´t keep eating out, now that is not healthy"
Daiki only chuckles softly and hugs you as tightly as he can with your stomach.
"My sweet sweet wife. Always prioritizing everyone over herself."
You smile, but hide it from him while lightly hitting him. He was corny but you loved him very much. You feel blessed to be the one person he acts like this with. This was your special Daiki, your husband. There is no one else you would wanna spend the rest of your life with but him. He feels the same way. There was and never has been anyone more perfect like you. Even though you like to tell him that you are not perfect, he always insists that you're wrong.
"Come on baby, you got the food in the oven and the dessert is standing right here in front of me. What more do you need to do?"
You blush lightly and hide your face in his chest. He hugs you a little tighter and kisses your forehead.
"Let's go"
He lets go of you but doesn't stay far away for long. He grabs the back of your knees while he has an arm around your shoulders and lifts you. You giggle and hide your face in his neck and he walks with you to the sofa. He leaves you on the sofa and goes back to the kitchen. You try to look over your shoulder to see what he is doing, but he is already on his way back. In his hand, he has brought your tea and a snack. He lays it down on the table. While he sits down, he brings a fuzzy blanket with him and covers you both with it.
"I got you" he says and kisses your temple and hugs you to his chest.
Honestly, he was right. The cleaning could wait.
It was cuddle time anyways.

dudes i'm thinking so heavily about aomine outside vs aomine inside. i hate to overwork a stupid trope but i'm SERIOUSSSS he's got housecat vibes. he pretends to be all distant, mean, and aloof (outside) then when he's left alone with his s/o he's chilled out, he's smiling a lot, and he's all SNUGGLY. approaches, expecting affection, then leaves once he's had enough. he makes loud noises until fed. like... the aomine is a cat agenda is overdone FOR A REASON

I was in the mood to draw big bro Oreshi and baby bro Bokushi and thought it would be a perfect time to make them all cuddly (loosely based on this post). Hope it heals you as much as it healed me.
[Art related to my fic, Accidental Siblings.]
#you have no idea how cathartic this drawing was to make#baby boku deserves to get comfortable enough to be on the receiving end of physical affection#and i know seijuro will absolutely indulge him as their bond grows closer#again i say bokushi has yet to be put in a situation that requires any of this closeness in my fic but so help me god he WILL get there#also i was testing out the watercolor brush so that's why everything is paler than usual and why I'm using flat colors#but that doesnt matter so dont think about it too hard#i do like how the watercolor makes these drawings look like they came out of a storybook though#might use this brush whenever i just wanna make a quick piece of art#anyway hope you enjoyed friendos#kuroko no basket#knb fanart#my art#knb fanfic#my fanfic#accidental siblings#akashi seijuro#big bro oreshi#baby bokushi

Still 05/07, i made it! happy aokise day to those who celebrate 💙💛
with a fic:
Title: Through a Looking Glass Rating: Gen Warnings: None Characters & ships: Aomine Daiki/Kise Ryouta Currently at Chapter 4/7 Summary:
Good at reading people as he is, Kuroko has noticed budding feelings between two of his friends way before they themselves did. Aomine is pretty obvious, so it should be easy, isn't Kise the same..? He thought he would keep watching from a distance, but after they mess up one too many times, maybe it's time for the gang to do something about it. How much meddling is too much meddling? Or: Kuroko's look from behind a looking glass at whether Aomine Daiki and Kise Ryouta will get together.

I read i think one of the most emotionally devastating fics of my life last night, and I'm still thinking about it...Seriously...what was the Author on..? Yeah i'm talking about YELLOW for Aokise and i honestly can't remember the last time a fanfiction has left me THIS emotionally devastated.. :'D
I've realized that theres ALOT lf hidden gems in the community, especially for Aokise but simply because the fandom was active a long time ago, it'll be hard for me to find them. But from a little bit of my investigation, KnB was really huge on Tumblr back in the day. So if some Aokise fan's still around, could i get some fic recs for them? As you can tell, i really like angst.. :')
#painful#this was so hard to read i really can't emphasize on this enough#aokise#aomine x kise#knb#kuroko no basket#aomine daiki#kise ryouta#like especially the way the author explored the themes of grieving and just.....i will die i think I'll just die from the sadness#i already felt like i wanted to run away and this just exasperated that feeling a whole lot more#luckily I'm finally going home today again so maybe i wont have to feel like this for too long#but who am i kidding I'll just find another fic to continue hurting my feelings#this is me we're talking about yknow how i like my ships
